Sumpango

Sumpango is a collage that pays tribute to the giant kites that fly in the cemeteries of Sumpango Sacatepequez  Guatemala, during the day of the dead.  It is truly a spectacle to watch them fly.  They are also the largest kites in the world! This collage is made up of 396 original door photographs and  all the doors are printed in fine art watercolor paper and have a chemical coating to protect and add texture to each door.  Its a highly textured artwork, as each door is placed at a different level.    It is a one-of-a-kind piece and it is undoubtedly a work of art that everyone who enters your home or space, will talk about.    It will definitely bring a lot of life and color to any space where you place it.   It´s dimensions are 43.5 x 43.5  inches. and it weighs 11.8 kgs.
